As far as performance for the money is concerned, it’s hard to best the new Shelby GT500. With 662 horsepower and 631 lb/ft of torque from a supercharged 5.8 liter V8, it’s hard to understand how relatively low-priced this car is. The car features a sturdy Tremec 6-speed and an intelligent traction control system that ensures smooth power delivery and consistent traction. Starting at $54,000, it’s hard not to consider something like this, especially considering it runs quarter miles in the 11.5 second-range. Not bad!
